What will you learn?
In this {ARTFUL HANDBAG Workshop} you will learn how to create a beautiful "handbag" of sorts. A new take on the old messenger bag. A colorful, funky bag that boasts multiple pockets, unique embellishements and TWO BONUS mini projects - a drawstring sleeve pouch and a colorfully decorated and stitched mini book for journal pages, photos, mementos and more. Each step of the way, you will choose your color, your style and your layout to build a bag that SPEAKS TO WHO YOU ARE!
You will explore the art of "tap dyeing", challenge yourself with "doodle stitching" and add a new spin to old embellishment ideas. From color to construction, ruffles to rosettes, sewing to snap tape - you will be guided, step by step, through the process of creating a unique and one of a kind ARTFUL HANDBAG.

What do you need to participate in this workshop?
•Basic computer skills in order to access and log in to workshop site, send and receive e-mail, and download supplies list.
•High speed connection will make for a more pleasant video-watching experience!
•Sewing Machine and basic sewing skills. We will be using both straight and zigzag stitches in this workshop.
•Basic crafting supplies and a few other inexpensive items available at Wal-Mart, Target or your Dollar Store. Supply list provided in PDF format.
•All instruction is done via video and videos are not available for download.
Please note: Once payment has been received and processed, registrants will be sent directions for joining the workshop site {called RAEMISSIGMAN} which is hosted on NING. There are a few steps to this process and we appreciate your patience as we will make the approval as soon as we are able to do so. Please allow up to 24 - 36 hours as this has to be done manually and there are time zone issues.
The tuition is non-refundable once access has been given to registrants.
