21 secrets: finished project 2 of 21

Project 2 of 21 Secrets completed. I had so much fun with "Doodling Our Way" by Cathy Bluteau - a fun workshop that combines collaging and doodling. Once you start you won't want to quit! This week on the worktable: Using the last of my favorite reclaimed quilt remnants to make some new art journals. It must be time to go quilt hunting again!

Working on a few new vintage quilt notebook covers. These are refillable and hold a 3.5 x 5 inch miniature composition notebook. The inside flap also has a small elastic loop to hold your favorite pen, pencil or paintbrush!

Have I ever mentioned I have a sweet addiction to fabric? Nah - never I am sure! Especially the cool raggedly vintage stuff. Pulled out of the dryer, after a fresh wash, it is more raggedy and yummier than ever.

Random, doodle style stitching just makes it all the yummier -

These chunky pieces of fabric make lovely fabric art journals.

This one is headed to Montana.
