old quilts new life: colorful art journals

It seems I can't get enough of these beautiful vintage quilts. I love the
way they look as repurposed covers for a journal. Dyed binding, fabric
flowers, wool leaves and waxed Irish linen thread add charm to each
unique book. There is something very lovely about holding a book that
feels chunky, soft and well loved. See more of these repurposed journals

Mmmm...what a lovely, inspiring idea! I have my great gramma's quilt & another that my gramma made me....they are very well loved; & well...unuseable as a cover (more so for my great gramma's since, it's falling apart in places). I may just have to give this a try myself. Thank you for sharing! ~H♥~
P.S. Would it be okay to pin your 3rd pic that shows the entire journal?
