It seems I can't get enough of these beautiful vintage quilts. I love the
way they look as repurposed covers for a journal. Dyed binding, fabric
flowers, wool leaves and waxed Irish linen thread add charm to each
unique book. There is something very lovely about holding a book that
feels chunky, soft and well loved. See more of these repurposed journals
here.
There is nothing like repurposing a favorite find. You fall in love over
and over again - each time you make something wonderful with it...
These sweet little beauties were created using $2 cotton tote bags
from Michael's Craft Store. Quilt blocks, flowers and ties were all cut
from a favorite old quilt. I added a small embellishment to the back and
an inside pocket - also cut from the quilt.
Well it has finally happened. I have joined the "social media bandwagon." I have
dipped a toe in, half afraid, but am looking forward to connecting with those of you
who also enjoy the world of repurposing. I would love for you to take a moment
and follow me on my new journey...creating a repurposed lifestyle. Use the icons on

Tooling leather is more than an art. It is an outlet. The perfect release. I
can hammer away the frustrations and what is born is a beautiful creation.
These custom cuffs are vibrant yet simple. The addition of a fabric flower
or vintage bauble adds just the right amount of tactile yumminess.
