What do you do when your favorite vintage silk blouse has aged enough to tear?
How about some lovely dip dyeing ?
Maybe this scrumptious piece of fabric will find it's way onto a new apron???
Sometimes a little act of kindness is warranted. I have chosen Kadee @ kadeewillow.com. She often leaves such encouraging comments. I so appreciate her.
I sent out some stitched goodness - hand dyed wool leaves, collected ephemera stitched onto a card, paper bag envelope & a scrap-rolled flower.
I hope it brought her a smile.
This art journal cover was created as a CUSTOM ORDER for an artsy friend. This cover fits the Canson Art Journal.
Custom orders for journal covers, ruffled bags etc. are always welcomed. Just contact me either through this blog, Facebook or my etsy store.
I thought it would be fun to share how I used the Halloween Bash items in my fall decorating. The banner looks so festive on my fireplace mantel.
I displayed a small pumpkin and crow to the top of my treat stand and it gives such height to the display. And getting the reflection in the mirror is just a happy bonus!
I love fall decor!

*RECYCLED PILLOW TO THROW ON YOUR HAYRIDE
During our annual halloween bash, we always need "pillows" for the hayride. This year I decided not risk taking the ones off of my living room sofa because last year they were covered in caramel corn by the end of the ride.
Instead I made disposable pillows stuffed with newpaper. I liked the reverse side of my burlap after painting it - it looked spookier, so I used that instead.
You can learn to make twisted rosettes here.
Are you making Spooky or Pretty? Either would be great!
